This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how user data is collected, processed, stored, and shared when you use the PocketOption Signal browser extension (the "Extension", the "Product") and the official website https://pocketoption-signal.online (the "Website").
By using the Extension and/or the Website, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. This Policy is prepared to meet Chrome Web Store Program Policies requirements regarding disclosure of user data practices.
1. Operator and scope
1.1. The operator of the Product is the PocketOption Signal project team. The Operator's official website is https://pocketoption-signal.online.
1.2. This Policy applies to: (a) the PocketOption Signal Extension distributed via the Chrome Web Store; and (b) the Website pocketoption-signal.online and related technical requests made by the Extension to the pocketoption-signal.online domain.
1.3. The Extension is designed to operate in the user's browser on Pocket Option web pages (domains pocketoption.com and *.pocketoption.com) and provides signal, indicator, auto-trading, and trade-journal functionality.
2. Collection of user data
2.1. In connection with the Product, the following categories of user data may be collected and processed.
2.2. Local Extension data: panel settings, indicator and filter parameters, auto-trading and money-management parameters, presets, interface language, trade-journal records, and other technical parameters required to preserve Product state between sessions. Such data are created through the user's actions and stored locally in the browser.
2.3. Technical data: Chrome extension ID (chrome.runtime.id), technical tokens/labels required for Product functionality, and metadata of technical requests.
2.4. Data accessed on Pocket Option pages: the Extension accesses the platform UI and page content solely to provide signals, the panel, and auto-trading features. The Operator does not separately request or collect for transfer to the Operator the user's name, email address, phone number, password, or payment credentials from the Pocket Option account.
2.5. Website data: when the Website is visited, hosting infrastructure may automatically record standard technical logs, including IP address, user-agent, date and time of the request, and requested URL. No user account registration is required on the Website.
2.6. Data collection occurs automatically upon installation and use of the Extension and upon visits to the Website, using Chrome permissions and host permissions declared in the Extension manifest.
3. Processing and use of user data
3.1. User data are processed by the Operator solely for purposes necessary for the operation of the Product, namely:
- to operate signals, indicators, filters, auto-trading, and money-management features;
- to preserve settings, presets, and the journal between sessions;
- to perform technical integrity checks and protect the Product against abuse;
- to display the Extension interface and the Website;
- to handle user support and privacy requests.
3.2. The Operator does not use user data for advertising profiling, creation of marketing lists, sale of data, or transfer of data to advertising networks.
3.3. Processing is limited to the minimum scope necessary to achieve the purposes described above.
4. Storage of user data
4.1. Primary Extension user data are stored locally on the user's device in browser storage (chrome.storage.local) under the storage permission.
4.2. Such local data are not synced by the Operator to a cloud user account and are not automatically sent to the Operator's servers for sale or marketing.
4.3. Technical data that may be processed on the Website side (including service requests and server logs) are stored on the Website hosting infrastructure.
4.4. Retention of local data: until deleted by the user or until the Extension is uninstalled. Retention of Website technical logs: for a limited period necessary for security, diagnostics, and Website administration.
4.5. The user may delete local data by clearing site/extension data in browser settings or by uninstalling the Extension.
5. Sharing and disclosure of user data
5.1. The Operator does not sell user data to third parties.
5.2. The Operator does not share personal user data with advertising networks, data brokers, or other commercial recipients for their own marketing purposes.
5.3. User data may be accessible to the following categories of recipients only to the extent necessary to operate the Product and the Website:
- the hosting provider of the Website pocketoption-signal.online — to host the Website, process HTTPS requests, and store technical logs;
- the Google Chrome / Chrome Web Store platform — as part of ordinary browser operation, installation, updates, and distribution of the Extension;
- the Pocket Option platform (pocketoption.com) — the Extension operates within the user's session on that platform; trading data remain in the user's account and browser and are not transferred by the Operator to third parties as a separate personal-data package.
5.4. Disclosure may also occur where required by applicable law or pursuant to a lawful request by competent public authorities.
5.5. If the list of recipients changes, the Operator will update this Policy before such sharing begins.
6. Chrome permissions and host access
6.1. The Product uses the following permissions and host access:
- storage — local storage of settings, presets, and journal data;
- tabs and windows — opening and managing the Extension panel;
- host permissions for https://pocketoption.com/* and https://*.pocketoption.com/* — access to platform pages for signals and auto-trading;
- host permissions for https://pocketoption-signal.online/* — technical requests to the official Website and/or Product API.
6.2. These permissions are used only for the purposes described in this Policy.
7. Children's data
7.1. The Product is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. The Operator does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to this Policy
8.1. The Operator may amend this Policy. The current version is always published at https://pocketoption-signal.online/privacy (and https://pocketoption-signal.online/en/privacy for the English version).
8.2. The last-updated date is stated at the beginning of this Policy. Continued use of the Extension and/or the Website after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy to the applicable extent.
